The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate a.k.a NEET UG Entrance Exam is an all-India entrance exam that is conducted for admissions into Undergraduate medical courses in government and private colleges. It aims to set a benchmark when it comes to fair and transparent assessments, which will eventually ensure quality candidates and education in India. Perhaps this is why almost 16 lakh students have registered for this exam in 2021, the highest ever turnout.
The authority that supervises its conduction is the National Testing Agency (NTA), which ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of the assessments. These help the NTA and NEET to further its mission of identifying and bridging the gaps in the current assessment system. This can only be possible by designing a system that only picks the best subject matter experts in their respective fields.
